やっほ！ 山さん元気？ Tomb Raider Goldを始めたよ。最初TRIIから始めちゃったから古さが目立つかなと思ったんだけど、思ったほどではなかったよ。ゲーム中の感覚はとてもTRIIに近いよね。でも3Dエンジンが古いのか、Laraが動くとき壁のテクスチャが波うつよね、それはホントにPS版TRみたい。でももちろんテクスチャは綺麗だし、きびきび動いて気持ちいいよ。TVで観てやるゲームより遙かに見やすいからそれがうれしいね。 やはりがっかりしたのがQuickTimeのカットシーンのクオリティの悪さだった。これに関しては下を読んでね。 //As far as the movies go, Core was not able to find the original, hi-res source art for the movies in TR1. That meant we had to basically "Quicktime-ize" their movies as they were on the PC version, which are very low-res. We were very disappointed with the results, especially after the TR2 movies turned out so well, but had no other choice. Ken Cobb Westlake Interactive // (MacGamingのフォーラムより） ビデオローをスキップしてみるともう縞々で醜いし、そのまま観るとクオリティーが低くて観にくい。まあ踏んだり蹴ったり。でもTRのレベルデザインはなかなか面白いよね。 TRGのCD-ROMからインストールすると、TRIとTR Unfinished Businessのフォルダが別々にインストールされて、両方ともスタンドアローンで動くようになってる。UBのほうはまだやってみてないよ。 今回家に届いたCDはおかしくて、Internal CD-ROMドライブにいれると「ぶーん」ってすごい音が鳴るの。うるさくってゲームなんか出来やしないからAspyrMediaに聞いてみた。そしたらこんな答が帰ってきた。 >The loud buzzing you are experiencing is due to the screen printing on >the CD. Let me know >what you decide to do. 仕方ないからディスクスペースを作ってそこにデータを放り込んだ。そしたらゲーム中全然（メールにあるように「それほど」ではなく、ホントに「全然」）CD-ROMにアクセスしなくなって（単に鍵となる）、一回スピンダウンしたら静かに遊べるので、次回プレスのCDを待つことにした。 とりあえずこんな感じかな。もっとすすんだら感想とか送ります。ところで武器が少なくない？ M-16とか出てくる？？ カール |
